MAYBE WE

It was love or maybe a lot like it,

definately had its moments and

cross-fires of glancing words, through

It went along throughout, within

quietly resurrecting emotions, which

we have earlier felt and forgotten, for others.

When will it all begin, wonder how

how long we have to act indifferent,

for we have parted ways, unknowingly.

Don’t you wish it was all sane

knowing the insanity of it all, I

passively grin on my silence.

We could have, have it all

killing our bodies but binding

morbid pleasures of the soul.

It was love or maybe a lot like it,

pain of separation or a deep wound

maybe we could have, have it all.

Simply, maybe, we could have.

this poem reeks of a story untold. there is pain,

    quietly resurrecting emotions, which
we have earlier felt and forgotten, for others.

    there is regret.
When will it all begin, wonder how
how long we have to act indifferent,

and then there is hope in the last two lines. nevertheless, loved the entire piece except but one bit. a minute spelling error on line two. but that can be forgotten. pat they back lady, you have done well with this.
